Pray, pray, pray! For strength, help and grace.

It happens to us all I think, for some, like me it is a lifelong struggle. So I pray, pray , pray.

When I was fourteen a good friend of mine was raped by her step dad. She ended up becoming pregnant and then committing suicide because she couldnt deal with the guilt.... I was mad after that happened. I guess it was an eye opener as far as it made me realize how many "evil" things go on in this world. It shook me because I could not come to grips with how God could let this happen. For a little while I questioned His existance after that. I do not believe that during my stay on this earth I will ever really know exactly why the Lord lets certain things happen. I think it has to do with the fact that we are not robotts and if He were to step in and stop people every time they were to try to do something bad, then we would be nothing less than robots. At least He does give us a chance to excel and do good. If He stopped people from doing evil then there would be no one person who was exceptional. Instead He does give us the chance to shine. Hopefully when I get to heaven, I will understand more fully... I guess thats the part where faith comes into play.. I hope this helped..

If people are honest, they would say that at one time or another they have had doubts about what they believe. Even atheists have moments of doubt. Just remember that doubt is not unbelief and God isn't angry that you have questions. In fact, my doubt has made me dig deeper and deeper into my belief system. Ultimately, it has made it stronger because now I know why I believe what I believe, it's not just because the church has told me that I have to believe it. It is in my heart and my head and no one can take that away from me. Also, I always remember when Christ was going to heal someone, on the way to heal them they died. The father of the child was with Christ when it happened. Christ turned to the man and said, "Do not be afraid, only believe." The man said, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief." When I have doubts, I pray that little prayer and I get to work on solving this crisis of faith. Remember, God is not afraid or angry over questions.

I put my faith on hold for over 20 years, due to lingering doubts and misconceptions.

Once I got older, had some time to take a second look, and actually research the necessary topics, everything fell right into place, and I truly became a "practicing" Christian.

Now I only have doubts about ten times a day ... but they never fail to be successfully resolved.

I think questioning your faith is just part of growing in your faith for most people. It wasn't really questioning "religion" . It was more questioning my relationship with the Lord until I realized that whenever there was a problem and things weren't going like I wanted them to, it was ME that was the problem, not the Lord. Hes the same yesterday and today ....me on the other hand can and do change, and once I realized that I focused more on staying on HIS path and not MY path.

everybody and everyone questions their faith at different
times ,and not just one moment only, any one that says this is not truth is lying to themselves, that is the reason is called faith
,because you have to believe in something you have not seen,
and for me that live in America, have faith is so easy ,because more or less we have commodities and our lives are some what
easy, but for people who at this very moment are dying of hunger
(and is used as an example)and they don't even have a basic place where to live, and even with those problems they still believe in God,well that is real faith

Why, I'm the most skeptical man I know about religion and faith and yet, I find myself believing at the turn of each day. Go find an answer to that. It's lotsa fun, though.

Definitely! One night I almost became an atheist. I am a Christian, and now I am stronger than ever. Check out my older questions that have to do with Christianity and Atheism. Religion is undoubtedly one of the hardest things to follow at times.

Now I just decide to believe in God, and believe in Jesus.
