a muslim yesterday messaged me telling me that thousands of american ladies are now wearing the abayas (muslim dress)
is this statement true or a lie?
(i dont live in america, and i wonder what sort of an american lady would love to walk in america covered in tents?)
or can this be a joke?

It's not a joke. I live in Milwaukee, WI and whenever you go into any store you see them dressed all of the time in this. It's very common now, and there is even a joke about Dearborn being "Dearistan" because so many muslims live there. It's true. There are also many arabic stores where muslims can buy food that is "halaal".

The first thing I'd like to say that this is a choice i choose to make no body is here to make me do what i dont wish to do.If your big brother asked you to change the t.v chanel isnt it your choice whether to change it or not. your the one that is in control of the remote after all you could eather keep it on the chanel or you could be in trouble when your parents come back.

Living in New York, I have seen a significant increase in the number of women wearing Muslim dress. It may be that there are more immigrants from Muslim nations, or that Islam is making many new converts.
