Okay, I posted a question before asking about how to approach this girl and so on...Now, this week, I think i made a tiny little bit of progress. I spoke to her(Actually is she asking me questions because we are working in a day care centre). All I know about her is just her family name that's all!And today, after work, I was waiting for her to ask her number and her dad is waiting to fetch her...When she came, I asked her and she said "Why?"This is all in my calculations except when I was going to answer her, a darn kid just ran out of nowhere and intercept our conversation and asked for sweets!Darn SWEETS!She replied that kid instead of me...Then entered the car...The only thing I got was "Goodbye..."Now I feel like I'm a total LOSER!I know it's more like a desperate act but I have no choice...Soon she'll be leaving that place and I don't think I'll be able to see her again...

Thanks for all the replies, I'm those kind of guy who is REALLY shy in this matter...And for what I just did, I had plucked up nearly every ounce of guts in me...After asking her, my legs went crazy, shaking non-stop...I don't even know I've the balls to do it again...Yes, I really want her...But do I look like I'm being a nuisance to her since I've asked once?I mean like what if it turned out her to be sick of me?Things like this always happen...

The best approach I know is to invite a girl to meet you somewhere for coffee (if you are adults), because there is far less pressure than inviting her to dinner or a movie.

As to the question "Why" you want her number? Answer: You think she is interesting and would like to get to know her better...you know she is leaving soon, and wanted to get her number before that happens so that you could call her in the future.

Put the ball in her court. And be gracious and smile if she says no...You never know; your response might make her change her mind.

STAY FRIENDLY...and good luck!

If you really want her, you will find a way to find her. I tried once, it ended up only taking 2 months, thank goodness I had gotten some time off work.

just talk to her and be yourself its all you can do. you really should try and pluck up the courage to ask her, but try and get to know her a bit first so she feels more comfortable. people generally feel more comfortable talking to their friends rather than just somebody who fancies them, first and formost you have to be a friend and then develop the relationship from there.

I hate to let the wind out of your sail but it seems as though she's not interested. She heard you ask for the number........then she said "why?". If she was really in to you then she would have spewed her number in auctioneer fashion.

you could find her name in the directory an just ask her as a formality. And if she does not give it to you call her and pretend there was something really important you needed to tell her

Get to know her first. If the only thing you know about her is her last name, chances are you wont get her number.
