You do not get paper tickets any more, unless you pay extra for them and ask specifically for them. These days you get an itinerary and a confirmation when you purchase the trip. You will get your boarding pass for the outbound flight when you check in for the outbound flight, and get your return boarding pass when you check in for the trip back. You do not need to carry tickets at all any more; they just use boarding passes for everything now.

You probably received an itinerary. You receive the boarding pass (ticket) when you check in either online (if booked that way) or at the airline ticket counter. You then get the return flight boarding pass the same way upon your return.
