I would love to see your thoughts for both good and bad

Thanks in advance

Keep in mind with any treat you have to consider those calories into their diet so never over-due it.

Good treats can consist of large bones (boiled for about 1-2 minutes...no more or they can possibly break a tooth; get them from a butcher- even the grocery store one), carrots, Liv-a-littles treats (come in a variety of types and are all natural; not cheap but worth the price), rice cakes (for obeses dogs...empty calories); occasionally giving them a taste of leftovers from dinner (such as meats) is also okay.

Bad treats: chocolate, raisins, grapes, ham, tomatoes (too acidic), onions (can be poisonous), cookies, and treats made with lots of fillers (like corn meal and other grains).

NO Pork (Worms), Uncooked meat (Worms), NO FOWL (TURKEY, CHICKEN WITH BONES!!! (The Bones splinter and can be deadly.), NO Dark Semi Sweet Chocolate, No Onions, NO RAWHIDE BONES or HOOFS (CHEWIES) made in MEXICO or other countries. (They can and probably DO contain some poisons from what I've heard). They had news articles on that in the past.

YES to most NON Human jerkey treats, BONZ brand dog treats.
Hot Dogs are good (They've been cooked, I use them for training),
NO BONES in FOWL, the MEAT if fine. Bones from COOKED BEEF steaks are fine I just don't do it because of choking.

Here are some other NO's

# Pear pips, the kernels of plums, peaches and apricots, apple core pips (contain cyanogenic glycosides resulting in cyanide posioning)
# Potato peelings and green looking potatoes
# Rhubarb leaves
# Mouldy/spoiled foods
# Alcohol
# Yeast dough
# Coffee grounds, beans & tea (caffeine)
# Hops (used in home brewing)
# Tomato leaves & stems (green parts)
# Broccoli (in large amounts)
# Raisins and grapes
# Cigarettes, tobacco, cigars

Chewing Tobacco is fine in a SMALL quantity. I'm talking tiny, amount. (Helps in the prevention of Intestinal Worms)

Good: Cheese/Chicken/Bones/Fish/Organic Treats.

Anything that has sugar as diabetes is getting really bad in both humans and dogs.
