They have permision to rebuild. But at the moment the dome of the rock is sitting there, and if you take that down and start rebuilding the temple, the Muslems would fight to the death to defend that dome. I believe that when the antichrist comes out, he will negotiate with the muslems and will succeed, and then the temple will be rebuilt, until the antichrist comes out, the the third temple will be just a dream.

My pastor was in Jerusalem a few months ago and was told that where the dome of the rock is is actually where the outer courts of the old temple was, so there is actually enough room in that area to rebuild the temple and there is even a group designing and laying it out as we speak....so, it might be sooner then you think.

The Christians want them to rebuild it. Much of the materials have already been gathered, and furnishings built. Its just a matter of time. The "red heifer" has been in Israel for about 10 years now. Why would you think that Christians would destroy it-we would do all in out power to help in the construction?

They can't build it on the original spot, because the Dome of the Rock is there.

They don't because there's another building occupying the old temple site, and it's owned by the Muslim's. <*)))><
