infant massage helps develop nerve awareness and relaxation... use baby oil and classical music
start using baby sign for simple commands, develops the brain and language skills
hand over hand feel different textures... soft, hard, squishy.. etc and say the texture
lots of talking to the baby.. the more words the better, baby talk doesnt' develop the brain like normal vocabularay
read read read... reading books helps alot. Kids that dont' have books read to them are behind when they start school

My number one suggestion: dont talk baby talk. Speak clearly and make eye contact. Also play baby genius cds, dish network also has a all baby channel that is excellant. Another thing is to give massages and help them extend and rotate their legs and arms and head. Babies learn by repetition. include them in conversation by looking at them and using facial expressions. When bathing dressing or changing diapers tell them what you are doing as you do it and when putting them down tell them. this also helps with establishing a routine and not startling them by sudden changes in environment.

Sing to them, show them u love them, hugs and kisses all the time. Talk to them like you talk to older kids. They love it and will develop fast.
