I would prefer not to be able to walk because I could always have recourse to a wheelchair.

Most people rather see then not being able to walk. We all see people in wheel chairs. Everyone answering this question can see. To not be able to see is more unknown in society and causes more fear. People that are blind use their other senses which become more enhance because of the loss of vision. I think a more fair question would be to ask would you rather be deaf or blind.

Both of these abilities are such a gift from God. My brother has cerebral palsey and therefore can't walk, he is 16. We were told that he wouldn't live to be 3, 16 different times from 16 different doctors.
No, with that said he is also legally blind. H ecan thank God see with glasses.
Anyhow, imho I think I too would rather be able to see than to write for the simple fact that it would hurt me more to never see my loved one than to be able to play with them.
There are always ways for you to play sit down games with your kids but there are NO ways around seeing them when you are blind. I understand that there are people who would disagree but again this is just what i THINK I would choose.
Thank God I can do both right now.
Be thankful for what you can do today, God only knows what youll be able to do tomorrow.

I would rather not be able walk as long as my wanker still functioned properly. Otherwise blind. Then I could have more options with the ladies. Less physical barriers.

Not be able to walk. Blindness seems to be more limiting, but of course, both can be completely and greatly capable of doing great things.

I would choose blind. Because their is so much craziness in the world today, That you just get tired of looking at it all. Plus I am a singer & guitar player, And you really don't need to see inorder to play guitar & sing.

Definitely I rather be unable to walk than loose my sight because it is too precious. Remember, "picture says thousands words." It means nothing if we walk thousands miles in the dark.

Without the use of my legs, only my leg mobility is restricted. Without the use of my eyes, all of my mobility is restricted along with the imagery of every day which we analyze our thoughts with.
I clearly would never want to loose either, and would not belittle the loss of the ability to walk. But of the five senses, my sight would be the one I use and treasure most.

I would rather not be able to walk. I couldn't live if I couldn't see my son playing and laughing all the time.
