Yes, cos they love each other,
there are plenty of married people that have a bigger age difference than that

ya sure why not, after a certain age, i'd say 28, the age gap between two people doesn't really matter. Well unless were talking elderly with 20's then maybe i'd draw the line there, but 29-41 is fine.

You don't have to put your plans on hold because of an article. It is true that eggs start to reduce after 35, but my dr. told me I could safely have children up to age 40. Look at the celebrities, they have children past 40. I have never heard of their offspring being abnormal. Do what your heart tells you to do. Have children when you want to settle down. There is no hurry. I hurried and now I have 3 children and neither live with me. I'm very happy single. There is no rush for me and I'm over 40. I would rather be single and happy, than married and miserable.

It's not actually that big an age gap really you know. I don't think it's so bad. A lot of men get a lot better looking with age (though some just get saggy and wrinkley too!!) and they're more mature and ready to settle down. Having said that, if you want children, it's quite old to be a dad these days.

hello,

you seem worried,i am 27 and my husband is 47..our relationship has had it,s up and downs just like anyone else..in the victorian times this would of been the norm..i find his calmness about things a good thing at times,i am lucky because if his experince in life..we are both arty too.it sepends on our parents too,my mother had a terrible temper.so i went for a very laid back man..not a father figure as people like to assume,i have often looked for a mother figure ina sense.

a gir of 29 is not a girl, but a fully grown woman, and she like all of us have to experince the pain and joy of love..age is not the issue.

because a 29-year-old isn't a girl anymore but a woman and there's nothing wrong with two adults loving each other and getting married, whatever the age gap.

Of course she can -- because love is love.

And 12 years isn't that long, a person has (should have) reached a stage of maturity by 29 that doesn't change much from then on.

Good luck.

Anyone over the age of 18 can marry anyone they like as long as they are over 18 too.

I don't get the point of your question? If you are concerned about the age diffrence i think its ok, too many people get caught up in that sort of thing.

My gf is 10 years older.

Yes, of course. Compatablility is more important that 12 years age difference, which isn't much really is it? If you say you're nearly 30 and he's just over 40 does that sound so bad?
