its been about 4 months since the break up and havent said a word to each other. Do guys really get over relationships that quick?

If you want to move on you have to get over your past relationship. Not talking doesn't mean he's not thinking about you, he just wants to get over you.
Not maintaining contact helps to get over past relationship.

My Ex girl split up with me 5 months ago, after a 4 year relationship, i aint spoke to her for 3 1/2 months, i told her to leave me alone, as it was too hard staying in contact ( i still had strong feelings) Anyway about 2 months ago i met a fantastic new gal, shes awesome, you never know whats round the corner...
As the answer above says, i still talk about my EX to mates/family etc, as it will take a long time to get some one fully out of your system... But i have know desire to speak to my EX again...!
