Ideally, though, you would take the time to find out the laws where you live and if you need to do some sort of paperwork, do that, or if you are planning on some sort of online or school-based program, do what you need to get signed up and organized for that.

it took me 3 months to really adjust.

i have my children commit to study for 3 hours per day (exclude weekend) or else they are not allowed to play.

Also it depends on what Home School Curriculum you use.

depends on what program you use,agora for example sends you all the books and computers you need for the schoolyear and has the lessons online
