No I don't think it is illigal for those aged children to share the same bed. The younger brother will feel a sense of comfort with his sister and the older girl will develope her maternal skills and addapt to being with a guy while sleeping. When she tells you she wants her own bed space, then its time to let him have his own bed. At that age I doubt they would get up to much apart from natural childhood exporing and acting, but a four year old isn't all that aware of the future role of his body. If you feel comfortable about it and the children feel the same way then leave them until one child expresses the need for personal sleeping space. The iligal bit may aply in some states and as far as I am aware, there is little agaist it law wise. Bodies are living forms of organit energy and a girl is of a much higher frequency level that a guys body. For years children are kept apart at night and then when they age and fined the oppersite far more attractive than a few before, they fine it hard to feel comfortable being with the oppersite because body has never experienced the emotion before. Those two sharing the same bed is helping them to feel comfortable with being in sleep with another body. Hopethis has helped you Teema

No, it is not illegal. I had to share a room with my brother for about a year - I was 14 and he was 11 at the time. The 9 year old is heading toward puberty in a few years, so privacy will become more of an issue then. But for now they are too young to worry about that. If they really need to share a room, go ahead and do it.

Not that I know of. However, I don't think it's in the best interests of the kids. The 9 year old needs to have some private space away from her little brother. I had neighbors who tried this situation and the 4 year old ended up back in the parents room. Some girls start puberty early and I feel once they develop they should be entitled to some privacy.

YES!! At least according to the Missouri Family Services Office. They say that after the age of two. If your asking for a legal reason I would say you should seperate them immediatly. Sometimes it only takes something like a partition between the changing area and beds.

It depends on what state you live in. I know in Michigan if any of the children are in school they are not allowed to share a room with a sibling of the opposite sex. You should be able to find out through your local police department or DHS.

No. Children are of pure innocence. They no nothing but that
they're simply brother and sister. My brother (8) sleeps with my
younger sister (11) sometimes because he gets afraid at night
and stuff.
Just make sure you separate them before your daughter becomes
a pre-teen. Because then, she'll think that the whole sharing thing
is a little too weird. :]

If you only have the one bedroom for the kids where else is he supposed to sleep. If you are worried about him seeing her getting dressed, have the kids dress in the bathroom or put a divider up in the room, like a privacy curtain.

no it's not but if you have a case with a children's welfare organization, they will not let this occur. They will want the children to have separate sleeping quarters and neither of them would be able to share with you. This is for the us only as far as i know.
