I put french fries in the microwave with cheese on them and I didn't notice until I had already ate a couple of fries that the cheese had stuck to the plastic plate and pulled up a small layer of the plastic plate and I had ate some. My question is,,can this make me sick? I would appreciate you guys response, thank you.

nah ive done the same thing, you'd have to eat an excessive amount for it to make you sick.

It shouldn't. If you experience anything unusual over the next few days, and it doesn't seem to get better though, go see a doctor. In the meantime, try not to worry about it, and if you're going to microwave again, don't use that kind of plate.

No it won't make you sick,It is made safe, but next time spray a light coating of pam on the plate and it won't stick. Also try velveeta cheese.

Yes, it will!
You should never put food in the microwave in plastic containers, or cover it with Saran Wrap. The cancer causing chemicals in the plastic, drips into the food and poisons your systems.
Only put food in glass containers to heat in the micro.
This information has been very much advertised in the past year.

i agree with lovex, i have kids, lol, AND a husband, lol been around that block to many times, lol would have to eat to much to get to the point of being dangerous, or even make you sick even..just keep the silverware out of that microwave, let a question like that come up, lol hubs blew up microwave finding out the answer to that one! hahaha

plastic in food containers is by its nature food safe.It will pass through you harmlessly.Why are you eating that crap anyway,its more likely to do you harm than a bit of plastic

in the short run NO
you should not be microwaving things on plastic because there are theories that the chemicals come out of the plastic and can harm you (in the long run)
