What has caused this strange attraction in so many women for men who treat them terribly? Why that when a man tries to truly care and puts himself out there they push us away? I would rather know who you are and what you really want, then to sleep with you thirty seconds after meeting. Why has chivalry become so how suspect. Have the women of the world been so hurt that they can't find any trust in the male gender. Please give me your honest thoughts. Thanks.

This a good question.. You are right that a lot f women like men that treat them bad...but not all women. there is several reason why women like bad guys first... a lot of it comes from low self esteem, and there childhood because most of those women either didn't have a father around ,or there father didn't treat them or there mother good or they have seen there mother be with men that treated her bad so they think that it is okay for them to be with one and that's all they have grown up to know..... like myself i grew up with a dad that treated my mother really bad and then seen my mother be with bad men all of my life even now she is with one ... but with me i actually waited to have sex and only been with one guy... i choose a good man but my sister it was the opposite she is like most women who date bad guys the difference between me and most women i looked at the guys in my mother life and said i don't want a man like that and said that i am worth more than me being with a bad man. Also a lot of women think they can changed a bad man into a good one just like the saying goes you can't turn "a hoe into a house wife" i say the same Thing about bad men they have to change on there own. Also yes a lot of women are tired of being good and men cheating on them and hurting them so they don't want to get close with a man who cares because some of those bad guys claimed that they cared like most men in the beginning of the relationship but then turned out to be an @** hole so when a good man comes around we end up not seeing him and lose him to someone else because of the trust we lost with most men we have met that hurt us

Sometimes women have self-esteem issues and believe any man who thinks they're super-wonderful must be full of crap.
if you want a girl, be assertive. It's not so much a matter of being a nice guy as being the guy who knows he's cool; after all, if you don't think so, how are we? Speak up, ask out, and lead for once. Most women like to be lead a little, they feel like damsels instead of mommies.

I think most of these women are driven to those kind of guys because of their edge and overall charisma. They love excitement.
I'm not drawn to bad guys, but I don't like it when a man cares too much and puts himself out there too much. It can get a little creepy.
And I've been around guys like that and their personalities were not the best.
They were quite socially awkward. I don't think a lot of women like
men who are shy in public.
If you're talking about a woman you like, why don't you try to do something out of the ordinary with her. Something you wouldn't usually do. That would get her attention.

Yes, many women have a hard time trusting men. And unfortunately many men have contributed to that problem.
But believe me, we want nice men. Don't give up on being nice. I'm personally very attracted to guys who will just look me in the eye and have a conversation with me.

I think women like a man that wont let them walk all over them. Call me crazy but a really really sweet guy is more like a brother- this doesnt mean we want to be treated like shiat but we want some common ground between the two.

It's difficult for some women to trust men, because we've been hurt, lied to, disappionted and abused. But I will never understand why any self-loving and decent woman would ever subject herself to a man who constantly treats her bad.

Women are very emotional and when a guy is laid back, some women think the guy is just not responding at all. They don't really want things rough, but they want to know where they stand. Don't change your atitude, but be more vocal.

Being a guy asking this question you would realise how easy it is for some guys to pretend and then be as rough as guts. Also it depends on the women you are trying to woo.... they may like a little roughness, so to speak
