To be a prosperous country you must rid the country of corruption and educate the people in looking after their environment. They should also be education in child birth.
Change the government and have freedom of speech and the people should have a say in the way the government runs the country. Get rid of the caste way of life. Every one should be equal and women should not be frowned on, they would have a great input if only they were treated better.
Saying all that India is still a world unto itself and a real eye opener.

Promote women's equality through laws and examples of great women in India's long history. Undo the caste system through legislation and examples of the problems it's caused all through history.
