Welcome to the world of teenage angst. There is no solution, other than wait and see, you both will grow up, things will change, better and worse. It's life. I'm 58, it still happens only after it happening 10,000 times, it's just more everyday event. I'm catching your accent. Good luck. keep us posted.

You're not kidding, that was long! On the class election thing, don't let it bother you. When anyone wins something, it's natural for others to be jealous and say things like you don't deserve it. It's just a rumor! Let it go. You can't control what others say about you. Do you best to fulfil you duties and don't pay attention to what others say out of spite. As far as the girl, if she hasn't contacted you since Christmas, I'd say that whatever chance you two many have had might be gone. Unless she's super busy, she would've called by now. Believe it or not, it's ok to throw caution to the wind sometimes and be with someone. Just keep your priorities straight (school) and you can have a gf. The only advice I can give you is the next time you see this girl, tell her again that your feelings haven't changed and you want to give a relationship a try. It's hard but you can balance it. If you don't want a relationship with her, I have no idea what to tell you aside from throw yourself into your studies and take up a new hobby to get your mind off her. Sometimes life is about taking risks. Don't set such rigid rules for yourself. You're human. It's ok to have connections with people and still maintain a good life at school, etc.
