Yes, they have. Do you realize how many hospitals that have CLOSED because they are losing money to these criminals? Over 84 of them in that state alone!!! No, I am NOT kidding, and that article was published two years ago! It is a very serious issue. We ALREADY HAVE THE LAWS!!! We need to start enforcing them, NOT LEGISLATING about amnesty!

Here is a quote from the article: "In hosting America's largest population of illegal immigrants, California bears a huge cost to provide basic human services for this fast growing, low-income segment of its population. A new study from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) examines the costs of education, health care and incarceration of illegal aliens, and concludes that the costs to Californians is $10.5 billion per year."

As a side note, did you know that the Mexican government TELLS people how to get into the US, and that those people are the homeless in Mexico? I know that I don't want an influx of these people here...most of them don't have ANY vaccines, and have many illnesses when they enter the US like TB!

No, illegal immigration has not killed the quality of life in LA. It's affected the city more than in, say, a town in Maine. However, LA's diversity is one of its hallmarks. It's a vibrant city that encompasses people from all walks of life. There are so many neighborhoods in LA, each with its own flavor, that combined have made it into a fabulous city. Of course, being such a sprawling metropolis, LA has its flaws, as does all cities. However, illegal immigration is not the reason for this.

Yes. Most Americans don't want to visit there anymore.

Illegal aliens have made the city into one giant slum. The poverty rate is skyrocketing.

Yes. That combined with rent control. The two have caused a downward spiral thanks to the commies in the city council.
