Sure....just ask the Vatican.....or whoever decides what is and isn't allowed to be published in the Bible.
Good Luck with that....might be a bit of "red-tape" to get through. Rumour has it that some of the oldest and greatest writers....never made it into the book. (but you never know....give it a try if you feel so inspired).

Jesus is the same today, as he was yesterday, and how he will be tomorrow. He never changes. And beside there is nothing that you me or anyone else can add. The bible is a story of redemption. not recreation.

Personally, I don't think God and Jesus Christ are finished talking yet. Since they are still alive, they can still reveal their will to the person or persons they choose. You have the right to get personal revelation for yourself and your family and your stewardship. It doesn't mean you are adding to the Bible. It just means that you have more detailed information for yourself. Have a happy day.

no one has a personal relationship with Jesus, he died 2,000 years ago. I do find people that read the Bible and then claim to have a personal relationship with Jesus to be HILARIOUS though, so I love 'em for their humor.
I find it funny that everyone is telling you NO. They must not realize that NONE of the Bible was written by Jesus, and was actually created through this process of adding and subtracting things from it over decades and centuries after he died....how they call it the word of God is simply beyond me.

Bullsh!t!!! The mormons added their own book! sorry, Testament!
What because we have running water, and the only burning bushes are in California during wildfire season, someone can't add to the gospels without being a kook or blaspemous!
Or is it that religion has THEIR story, and has YOU where they want you, and they wouldn't want you to get a hold of the big J and get the real scoop out.

Read the last part of Revelations. NO.
" 18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book."

I guess nothing is stopping you from doing so.. of course not many are going to take what you added as any divinely inspired writing ( well maybe anyway who am I to say ).

no,...the only thing that was originally said to be inspired or considered Gods word is Torah. all the rest is commentary. it was adding to and taking away from his laws,..not the whole book

No, you can not re-edit The Bible. You can, however, write a bio but good luck with the publishing.

No, but why bother? It is complete in its current form.
If you were John Grisham's best friend, you think he'd let you write a chapter for his next novel?
