I think you should first of all try to find out the reason of your anxiety. Being a young mother you must have been exhosted with three kids. you should take your time to care about yourself. Medicine is not always the only remedy for such condition. Try spend more time on fresh air, go to gym, eat healthy. If possible, go for massage, beauty salon, read nice book and try to communicate more to positive people. At least an hour a day treat yourself well - do what you would really like to do. There might be some hidden talents within yourself, such us drawing, writing or creating handicraft etc. Last but not the leasat - meditate, go for prayers; do something that would make your feel happier person. Good luck!

I think maybe you need a medication adjustment big time. That's quite a cocktail they have you swallowing everyday. Have you talked to your doctor about what's going on and how all these meds are making you feel? Maybe instead of the lithium which is pretty strong in it's own right you should see if they will let you try out Depekote which is also strong, but for some people seems to have better results without so many side effects. It of ourse, could effect you differently. I really think you should tell your doctor how all this is making you feel, and request new meds or a med adjustment. Good luck.

I have three boys and that alone can send you into a tail spin! UGH

Xanax is some hard core shite....throw in the Lithium and you're on a trip to the moon. Please talk to your doctor about tweaking your meds...you may be taking the wrong combination. Perhaps you could scale back on one of them with your doctors permission.

I took Xanax a few years ago...I felt so spacey, like I was having an out of body experience....everyone reacts differently though. I had no choice but to discontinue Xanax...I started an antidepressant in place of it...it helped my anxiety a lot.

Best of Luck...

I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time. Perhaps it's time to go back to the psychiatrist and let him/her know that your life still isn't as good as you'd like it to be. Perhaps a change in your medications will make a world of difference. I hope you and your children have a great life.

I have experienced that feeling, don't know whats going on. Its kind of a side effect from medication, in a way it means you're stoned on the stuff. But this sort of problem is way out of my area of knowledge. Hope you are doing well.

if you are on medication, and still feel like something is wrong, mabye you should have your medication switched. alot of times, bipolar is misdiagnosed with depression. there are several different types of depression. i was diagnosed with bipolar disorder a few years ago, and i only took medication for it for six months. it made me feel worse! it sounds like you are going through a hard time, you can email me if you'd like to talk...take care!

thats one crazy coctail of antidepressents. you need to go to your shrink and see if they could switch up your medication or at least tweak the doseage to see if you could get some better results.
