what is the zen alarm clock?

It's an alarm clock that wakes you with a series of pleasant chimes. It starts with one 'ding' about 12 minutes before the set time, then a few minutes later it gives another 'ding' and so on... eventually it gives a continuous 'ding,ding, ding, ding, ding' until you pick it up and throw it across the room. It is supposed to be a peaceful way to wake up... but if you're not a morning person (as I am not), you will find that the peaceful 'ding' irritates you just as much as any air raid siren =)
