He's probably just hot! I have a 2 year old son & he cannot stand to have too much stuff on. He loves going to bed in just a t-shirt and his pajama pants (and they can't be too long, either). Kids love to breathe, they enjoy being free... our body temperatures are wired much differently then theirs. Even though I try to cover him up w/ his blanket thinking he's cold, w/n seconds there he is fussing - and the blanket lands on the floor (mind you he's totally asleep).

I have noticed when I don't have him wearing his full pajamas w/ long sleeves, he sleeps through the night.. I figure, let 'em be.... he loves it that way.. maybe your son is just the same way...

when you put him to sleep, have him wear a tank top & a regular, short-sleeved tee & very light pj's or a pair of light, cotton pants that are breathable & comfortable & it may just work!

Good luck & many sweet dreams!

A two year old is a living body that has feelings and needs. If he takes his PJ's off during his sleep then maybe they are too tight for body to feel comfortable in, so brain getting the nod tells hands to remove the PJs. Some bodyes don't like being sat on green grass, other body's love sitting in the sun while others can't stand the sun's heat. Bodies are living forms of life withfeelings and emotions that are a tool for the spirit to work with. Bodies are a tool for brsain to live in and function, part of that functioning is that they interact with other bodies and if one of those bodies is a parent then there is a stronger conection between the two bodies. At two it is also posable to ensure the system of being a male is working at that age. Boidy knows its growth rate, parents don't they just sit and watch then wonder where the years went. So don't be upset by what your son is doing in his sleep. Getting to involved might cause some bad scripting that will be an upset for him in later life. Enjoy him as a two year old in a body that sounds to me, like he is an Indigo Child. One who wants tomorrow to have happened three days ago. Enjoy being the day the life you helped form. In my undrestanding, the male sperm creates the brain and spine while the mothers egg creates the body which brain build about itself in the womb. Moms are like a computer and the fetus is the floppy disk which only the computer can work. Hopes this has helpped you Teema.

My two year-old son has been doing this recently too. He is a warm sleeper...even in the dead of winter...he takes after my husband and I. I used to walk in my sleep and once when I was about 10 I woke up in the morning and could not remember how my sheets and PJs ended up in a heap on the floor next to my bed. My mom came in to wake me up for school and I had no recollection of doing this. Sometimes kids do things in their sleep without realizing what they are doing.

He probably gets too hot. I usually dress my almost 3 year old in a blanket sleeper and set the temp at 60 degrees and the upstairs stays about 62-64 degrees and I give him lots of blankets. For myself, I prefer it to be chilly in the house and have warm clothes and lots of blankets...the heater running bothers my sinuses and I can't sleep and end up getting over-heated and taking off my own pajamas.

He could just be hot. My daughter seems to get really hot and sweaty while she's sleeping and every once in a while I'll find her without her pj bottoms.

Mostly likely because he's getting hot! My 2 year old daughter does the same thing, but she loves to run in the nude all day as well. He might just be hot-natured, try putting a fan in his room at night and see if that helps!

He's hot.

My two year old daughter does the same thing at night. I'll be bundled up and she'll be complaining of being hot. She also likes to run around the house with nothing on (I can't wait till she grows out of this stage). I used to think she'd get sick, but she hasn't yet. I think little kids run warmer than we do.

He is too hot.

My oldest started doing that early on and still does it. He sweats like crazy at night. He is always put to sleep in jammies but ends up taking them off at night. Sometimes he remembers doing it and sometimes he doesn't. I also do it now and then and there are many times I don't even remember doing it.

Well, possibly he's hot or itchy. You could try a different fabric for the pjs. Or try lotion all over before bed to prevent the itchiness.

My nephew loves dressing himself and doesn't understand how we could put PJs on him when we know he likes to choose his own outfit. Or maybe your guy is just too hot in his bed.
