Hi! Ravinder,
The Gold fish is having gold in it but we r not looking that, i mean, it gives the feel same which we get while seeing the real gold, we r not feeling, because we r not in a mood, sit infront of it for a while and watch it's action really u feel the gold in the water........

Hey, the name came after the colour of the fish, not its with the gold in it.

of course there's no gold in goldfish coz they were fish and not minerals you know...even though they appeared gold it doesn't mean there's some gold in their body but as you can see some names for such thing are weird...!!!

gold fish have a golden color,
is that not enough to justify the name.
don't find this misleading at all
silverfish is misleading as it refers to creepy crawlies under a wet rug
