I think it would be an amazing book.

Some of the theory's they have , even when put together.
Do come across similar to quiet a few things . like karma.
energy. maybe not the beginning of time..
But i think in general it would be quiet a exciting read.
One i would enjoy.

Actually there is a theory that Shakespeare was involved in the editing of the King James Bible. There were a bunch of people hired to do the transcribing, and he may have been one of those who edited the KJV to ear a little extra cash.

But to your question, I think that the Bible would read alot more spiritually with one of Einsteins Quotes at the core,

"Do I believe that there is someone who watches over, and plans the life of Albert Einstein? No. But I do believe that there is someone who is tending the garden, and I hope to glimpse him at work."

I'm not an Atheist but I'd have to read that. Because I'm pretty sure the last statement would be something like Einstein 17:23 "Oh hark, the joke of this printed malady is over. Laugh with us, one and all! Merry day of fools."

Which, without my (terrible) Shakespeare dialog, means "Hahaha, this entire thing was a joke."

The only given is the King Fartunkle version of the Bible would still be in English, although one wonder how well Shakespeare (or his ghostwriter) understood Latin, German and Italian.

It would be an entirely different book.
I would never limit God to one book, it is ludicrous to say that something that is everything takes 1000 pages to describe. There are hundreds of books on the subject of cake decorating but only one about God? Give me a break people.

whoa
Well, i can guarantee that they would not write the bible as we know it today. There would be no stories of miracles, for sure. And although the people you say are brilliant, none were really prominent philosophers. So, I really don't know what there personal beliefs would be. Persnally, I don't think that they would even write a "bible". But who knows.....

Just because those people wrote it wouldn't make it more credible to me. But it would make it a more interesting read.

What if... they wrote the Bible?

Hmm...

Then Shakespeare was definitely not the penman.

do you really think they would have wasted their time together on nonsense?
-What do you think would have happened in WW2 if we had put the pope in charge of building the first nuclear weapon? THE ANSWER: It would have never been built and countless more Americans would have lost their lives fighting the Japanese.

The men you speak of where focused on reality, not spiritual mumbo jumbo.
