a) an icy winter wonderland, colors would be white and ice blue. There would be specialty drinks that would be ice blue, and it would be ultra formal.

b) a summer picnic, with casual food, held outdoors, colors brown and violet. It would be a buffet and very informal.

c) a fall, elegant, wedding, ultra formal, held outdoors with the food being most appetizers and desserts. There would be a lot of gold trimmings, but it would not be a main color. It would have the same kind of atmosphere as an event at a formal winery

I'd say the winter would be unique because of the decor and I'd go that route if u want formal because a lot of people don't do winter weddings. The summer one, however, is more casual and might be cheaper and much more relaxed for the guests. But it depends what state you live in. Don't try and kill your guests with an outdoor Texas or Arizona wedding in mid summer. Ask your huband. I've found that they actuall respond if you have visuals like clippings so they can picture a ceremony. Just throwing colors and talk at them will confuse em.

B) is the most unique of them! Remember that your wedding should represent both you and your soon to be husband! If the two of you aren't ultra formal people, then an ultra formal event isn't fitting for you two! Secondly, consider the people you will be inviting, will it be more fun to have an event that is a little less formal?! Thirdly, do what you want! Enjoy it! You may be able to let loose and enjoy B more than A or C! Good luck and congrats!

I like the formal wedding if you can afford it. Do not go deeply in debt to pay for your wedding. We did the informal summer picnic (in September). We loved it and everyone had a great time. We used the money we saved from the wedding to make the down payment on our house. But I would have loved an elegant wedding. If money is no object, go all out.

I like the summer picnic one best and the fall one second best. the Icy wonderland sounds kind of cold (not to be corny). Plus as a bartender, I can tell you that there aren't a lot of tasty blue drinks.

You have something against Spring? :) :)

I too, had different ideas for different seasons. I don't like winter but I planned a February wedding which had to be pushed back to March. But it was because I liked the dress I wanted, so much. I made one of white velvet trimmed in faux fur.

So when you close your eyes & picture each one of these, which one do you r-e-a-l-l-y like? That's the one you should have.

hmmm personally i like the sound of c :) but the other sound amazing too! you just have to think of the pros and cons.. here are some to get you started:

a) pro - the most unique
con - might have to travel far to get there and also conditions
may not be what you expect

b) pro - relaxed, fun and definately unique
con - again you might not get the ideal sunny weather and also
people might get sun stroke and be afraid of bees etc

c) pro - something everyone would enjoy
con - again weather! but also people might want a full meal

The icy winterland would be the most unique. But the summer picnic would be more intimate and romantic.

C

It sounds elegant.-- fancy but not too formal. And I just love the color of autumn.

I like the sound of C. A sounds like it might come across as cold. B sounds too relaxed. C sounds classy and beautiful.
