No No No.. ok.. eat one piece of toast for breakfast and a banana.. eat a can of tuna with pickle or few olives for lunch or don't even have lunch and then eat a well balanced serving of vegs,6 ounce of meats and helping of potatoes and rice..keep it nice anything you want in the evenings but not overeat..at first have a snack every other night something like a cookie or something and then cut them out.Stick to diet drinks and sugar subs and you can lose a bunch of weight in no time. The less you eat the less you will want ..This works I lost 40 pounds in three months and wife lost 30 so I assure I know what im talking about and i wasn't even trying..It works

Divide those calories into small meals during the day, eat between five and six. I usually start with two frozen waffles and some sugar free syrup/sugar free jam, then the snacks at 9am and 3pm are about 100 calories. Lunch is usually a turkey sandwich, and dinner is about 200 or so calories. If your sticking to that small a caloric intake then make sure you space it out so that your metabolism is fooled into thinking that your always eating and that since your getting plenty of food that it can speed up and burn your fat and all the food your eat, once you get into a routine just stick with it.

Try to eat alot of fruits, veggies, and yogurt. I think it will work. You might also want to exercise for 30 minutes 3-5 days a week. Drink plenty of water too. If you like chicken, you can have baked chicken, which is really low in fat and calories.

For a 1200 calorie diet, my advice is...DON'T DO IT!!!!

You are far better off with a diet of around 2000-2500 calories and a regime of light-to-medium level exercise for initial weight loss. As far as diet goes, concentrate heavily on proteins and vegetables.

But make sure you exercise - as your body gets used to exercise, your increased muscle mass will burn fat better, enabling you to eat more of the foods you want to eat.

Not good.
You need at least 1,500 calories when dieting.
You need to ensure that you have enough fat intake also and you need to have a real breakfast!!!
If you do not get enough fat in your diet your body will stop burning it and start to save it.
If you do not eat a good breakfast then your metabolism will be slow.
Your body needs to know that it is getting enough nutrition so it will not slow down and start to store fat.

As for the right foods to eat... that is up to you, but to diet successfully, eat right and exercise!!!

1200 calories a day is basically a starvation diet. Eat small, healthy meals every 3 hours instead of counting calories. You'll still be fueling your metabolism and not overreating.

My doctor told me that if you eat 1200 calories per day, you are guaranteed to lose weight. I lost 30 pounds. Eat a lot of fresh vegetables. Frozen dinners are also good.

My notion is so as to add round 500 energy. 1200 energy is viewed a hunger vitamin. Your frame goes to latch onto each calorie you eat and sluggish your metabolism to a move slowly. Other than that, your nutrient intakes appear well. The extra fiber you get the higher.

As 2007 swings into gear, there's no better time to give your body a healthy, fresh start than now! Plus if you're thinking about lowering your weight - and your "eating clean" is a great first step. Add these 10 foods to your grocery cart and you'll get three terrific benefits:
1. Lots of super-healthy liquids to flush out the body while pouring in nutrients.
2. Fiber to keep your GI tract fit.
3. Foods that energize cleansing enzymes in the liver, your body's built-in detox center.
The top 10:
Green leafy vegetables. Eat them raw, throw them into a broth, add them to juices. Their chlorophyll helps swab out environmental toxins (heavy metals, pesticides) and is an all-round liver protector.
Lemons. You need to keep the fluids flowing to wash out the body and fresh lemonade is ideal. Its vitamin C - considered the detox vitamin - helps convert toxins into a water - soluble form that?s easily flushed away.
Watercress. Put a handful into salads, soups, and sandwiches. The peppery little green leaves have a diuretic effect that helps move things through your system. And cress is rich in minerals too.
Garlic. Add it to everything - salads, sauces, spreads. In addition to the bulb's cardio benefits, it activates liver enzymes that help filter out junk.
Green tea. This antioxidant-rich brew is one of the healthiest ways to get more fluids into your system. Bonus: It contains catechins, which speed up liver activity.
Broccoli sprouts. Get 'em at your health-food store. They pack 20 to 50 times more cancer-fighting, enzyme-stimulating activity into each bite than the grown-up vegetable.
Sesame seeds. They're credited with protecting liver cells from the damaging effects of alcohol and other chemicals. For a concentrated form, try tahini, the yummy sesame seed paste that?s a staple of Asian cooking.
Cabbage. There are two main types of detoxifying enzymes in the liver; this potent veggie helps activate both of them. Coleslaw, anyone?
Psyllium. A plant that?s rich in soluble fiber, like oat bran, but more versatile. It mops up toxins (cholesterol too) and helps clear them out. Stir powdered psyllium into juice to help cleanse your colon, or have psyllium-fortified Bran Buds for breakfast.
Fruits, fruits, fruits. They're full of almost all the good things above - vitamin C, fiber, nutritious fluids, and all kinds of antioxidants. Besides, nothing tastes better than a ripe mango, fresh berries, or a perfect pear.
Best of luck, spoongebob323.
