i'm 18 and he's 22. i've been with my bf for about a year. we live 40 mins away from eachother so we can only see eachother on the weekends. keep that in mind. I was at my bfs house and A girl called his phone. he didnt pick up because he told me it was his work and he didnt want his boss to tell him to come in. i took a look at his recent call list to see that he deleted the number out of his phone so i couldnt see who called. a couple minutes went by and his phone rang again. it was a girls name katie that came up on the caller ID. i accused him for deleting the number and he said he only did it because he didnt want me to worry and it was just a "crazy girl" at his work that got his number off the phone list. another thing he said is that she was only trying to cause trouble because thats how she is... what is that suppose to mean? i am not an over protective girl and i let him talk to other girls. Why would he lie if it was okay with me? hiding something and lying is alot worse.

If he knew that this person(and I use that term loosely in her case) was that type of person and thought that she might try something like this then he should have warned you about her in advance so that you could be prepared for the situation and so that the two of you could come up with a plan of action. Him not being honest and the thing about "that's just how she is" something just doesn't ring true and you need to get to the bottom of it and if he's lying about something like this what else is he not being upfront and honest about. But you also have to remember that there are weird girls out there that are just that weird and she may not want him but she doesn't want you to have him or either one of you to be happy in your relationship maybe it's time for a surprise visit.

if a person is hiding smth and lying about smth it means only one - this person has smth to hide. so if it was just a crazy girl from his work he would have told u from the beginning, more he would have picked up his phone and aksed her not in a nice tone of voice not to call him again. the fact that he wasn't talking with her in front of u tells that he is more intimate with her and is hiding her from u. that means he has feelings for her. so girl, prepare to be ditched.

usually the reason someone lied is that they dont want you
to know what really going on. he sound like there may be more
going on then you think. if he lying then that a problem that
may be come into more issues.

He thinks you'll take it the wrong way if he does leave her number on his phone. Reiterate to him about how you feel about him talking to other girls and ask him to be honest with you about the other girls he's talking to.

There is only one reason why he would lie to you- he is hiding something. Maybe nothing is really going on. Maybe it's all just innocent flirtation. But make no mistake, he is trying to hide something from you.
