Do men notice if women are even wearing any make up? Some girls spend so much time and money on it.?

I'm sure guys notice, I mean it's hard not to notice if she spent atleast an hour doing it :\. Too much makeup just looks trashy, thats why I rarely wear any :P

I never wear makeup. I have two roommates that do. They look the same to me with or without makeup, but yet they will spend HOURS putting it on. I think that it is good for special occasions like weddings and proms but a waste for everyday use.

Makeup, when used properly, can really make a difference in enhancing a woman's beauty.

But lots of times, they get the idea that more is better, and that simply isn't true. Too much draws attention to the makeup and not the woman.

some do some dont...i know a girl who puts makeup on for 2-3 hours before she goes out, she looks no different than 5 minutes after she starts putting the makeup on, but she does look very different without it...

on the other hand, my eyelashes are long if i put mascara on my guy friends ask me why i got fake lashes as me real ones are so pretty, i tell them it is mascara, they never believe me till i pull on them

so would say, yes they notice, unless you do make it look so "natural" and if that is the case why do you need it anyway?

Yes, most of the time you can tell. The best make up is it looks soooo natural that you can't even know they are wearing. Then you might ask what's the point, and that's the point. Women are complicated.

They will say the natural look, but they don't realize the "natural look" usually involves foundation, powder, mascara, and blush at the bare minimum. LOL. It is just artfully applied to enhance your features and not overwhelm them. So, I agree that most guys don't like a lot, but I do think they like a little that is well-applied. I say this b/c when I wear no makeup at all, people (including men) say I look tired or ask if I am sick.

Yes they do. I am a very simple woman who is also somewhat low-maintenence. Guys always have loved the fact that I don't wear make-up. Maybe a lil eyeliner and mascara once in a while, and always chapstick or lip gloss.

I have no idea. I would imagine so but I dont think a guy would notice enough had u put hours of wasted time into it. Some r lucky to be naturally pretty

Yeah, they do. They say they don't like a lot of make up but really if a girl does it skillfully and tastefully enough a man will think they are very natural and fresh faced.

They notice, but they don't notice they notice if you know what I mean.

i didn't think so, but some actually do. maybe more than some. i usually only wear eyeliner and clear mascara, but lately i've been doing a little more and a male, co-worker said, "since when did you start wearing make-up." so yeah.
