Why do we get moles? And how fast to they grow? I grew a mole (about half a centimeter in diameter) practically overnight. When I had a shower last night, it wasn't there, and today (afternoon) theres a mole on my back. Should I see a doctor??

You should see a doctor, and quickly. Moles don't grow fast at all. Certainly nothing like what you are describing. But some kinds of skin cancers do grow very quickly. so please get it looked at pronto.

Anything that has a rapid rate of growth is most certainly cancerous. It very well can be a maligant melanoma, the most dangerous and deadly form of skin cancer. No one of the most deadly forms of cancer period. Go and see a dermatologist now.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to see a doctor. Could be cancerous.

Yeah if I were you I would go to the dermatologist/doctor asap. Because it could really be something serious.
