Well, recently I came across a question that read, How do you Americans deal with being slobs? Then they added, PS. Im Indian. Well, the question made me upset so I responded,"The same way you deal with smelling like curry."
I feel so bad for saying that, I let my anger get the best of me but I will not make excuses. I just would like to say "I'm sorry" because deep down it's the right thing to do. As a Black person, I hate it when we are associated with food, like fried chicken which is dumb because folks of all races eat it. Just like people of all races probably eat curry. I, personally have never tried it, but i'm sure it ain't half bad.

You're definitely the better person in this for apologising. As for the person who asked the question.... well just as well there's no physical contact between anyone on here. I ain't to friendly towards arrogant pigs xx

PS Without being accused of being racist....
Curry is a popular dish in alot of Indian households. Because of the amount of spices in most curries it reacts with your body and when you sweat you will smell like curry. That goes for any race though. Try it next time you munch curry.

There is truth in the statement but I'm sure not every Indian eats curry, or every American is a slob. In fact I'm Scottish but I don't have ginger hair, wear a kilt and play the bagpipes!

accepted. You're obviously not a bad person as you feel remorse for your actions.
That person was sort of offending americans by making a generalisation that all american's are slobs. you just did the same thing. but at least you realise what you said probably wasn't the right way to react.

You know, at least you have the conscience to realize what you said wasn't right. Unfortunately, communication is irreversible and sometimes people just let emotions take over. Racial, religious, cultural issues can get people fired up. It's ugly! You obviously don't really feel that way or you wouldn't have posted this question. Don't beat yourself up, that's what mistakes are for! Just move on and remember what you took away from it!

Best thing to do is accept you've made a mistake then resolve to try and be the good person you know you can be.
Don't beat yourself up over this.(your conscious as done that for you already)we've all had lapses.

Take care and good luck for the future : )

Gosh, that was a rather rude thing of you to say, then again, I agree that people can be quite ignorant in their comments (just as you were, and anybody is when they make assumptions like that about African Americans). I think it was very dignified and classy of you to apologise like that though, good job.

Well done you!! Apology well accepted.

There are too many people on here who are just plain offensive and they never give a second thought to who they might hurt, you are obviously not one of them.

Have a nice day!

the question posted in which you asked an apology for is understandable yet the question was quite harsh and mean and i too an offended by the question which you answered!
and believe it or not i am both african & indian!
Shame on she whom asked this question so hard and cold and i would have simply compared living conditions of both continents and made her regret posing such mess!
Yet this too shall pass!

If half the world was as considerate as you, am pretty much sure the world would be a peaceful place. Now lets smoke the peace pipe.
