Im not racist or ANYTHING LIKE THAT, im just wondering. Always wanted to know why its ok for Latinos who arent black to say it, and anyone else cant. Someone let me no cuz im 100% italian and rather use other words but jus always been confused about that.

i'm sure no black person likes the N=word anymore than an asian likes to be called a c***k, calling black south africans k*ffir, calling whites "wh*tey, or anyone else a derogatory term. instead of wondering about it, just avoid insulting ppl completely out of self respect and ignore those who do out of ignorance. i don't think its ok for anyone. in fact i think its base crudity.

I think the word ***** does not sound bad in Spanish because it is used as a color while the white people in America used it in a bad way and still do. It was meant to hurt whereas in Spanish, it is the name of the color black.

The "n" word in English was commonly used by whites during the days of slavery in the United States to refer to blacks. Because of its association with slavery and discrimination, it's considered an inappropriate word.
In Spanish, using the word "*****" to describe someone by the color of his/her skin is pretty common practice. Just because they talk openly about skin color doesn't mean they're not racist, though.

I'm gonna say the word "*****" just because in Spanish, that means "Black"... it is just the name of the color. For example
Black Cat is "Gato *****"
Black Car is "Carro *****"
For Spanish speakers it is just the name of the color of any object. In Spanish "*****" it is not a bad word. However, when we refer to Black People, we say "Afroamericanos", that's African-American.

In Latin America we call people by their ethnicity or color of skin most of the times without intending to offend. That doesn't mean that people don't use them to offend too. But, here in the States mentioning some characteristic of some ethnicity immediately means something offending.

Good question! in puerto rico a "*****" is a black person, but, so what, that's the word for black. its beautiful and nobody cares. But here in the U.S. people invented derogatory terms.

It's not okay for anyone to say it. It's a derogatory term, that for some reason people seem to think that if a minority says it then it is okay to be said. When really no one should call anyone a derogatory term.
