I married my husband almost 11 months now, and during that time i only had my period 3 times. Both of us are very much ready to have a baby. The problem is, i do not know when is my ovulating period. My last menstrual would be sometime during September last year. Would taking my BBT now helps to know when i'm ovulating? Am i normal?

Yes, BBT would help you to know this.
You can purchase basal thermometers at Wal*Mart and most drug stores.
The thermometer will notify you of whether or not you ovulate based on the fluctuation in temperature.
If you aren't ovulating, it is best to discuss this with your doctor as there are many fertility treatments available.
Good luck..

I don't think charting your BBT would help in this case. It typically helps you figure out when you already ovulated, so you can predict for the next month.

You should definitely see a doctor. Ask about using as ovulation kit - the pee on a stick kind. It'll tell you if/when you're ovulating.
