I have a friend who has a boxer with similar markings and he is now almost 3 with no signs of deafness....I would explain your concerns to your vet when you take the puppy for it's shots and get the vets opinion.......I am sure your adorable puppy will be just fine, but if it turns out s/he does show signs of deafness, don't worry.....just love s/he even more and dogs adjust to and learn sign language very well, but the most part is just loving the puppy no matter what.......good luck!

Quick test. Is she sleeping? Yes? Sneak over there and clap your hands over her head. If she wakes up or her ears move, she's not deaf.
