I am trying to install adobe reader 7. It wont install and it keeps telling me to insert my disk. I don't have one because I use the free one from the adobe website. How do I fix this so that it will install. I have erased all previous files for adobe 7. my registry is clean. This problem occurred after I upgraded to adobe 8. adobe 8 wasn't working so I uninstalled it. I cant install any version of adobe reader. It keeps telling me to put in my adobe 7.0.8 disk. When I click off of the request to insert my disk it says the installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exsit and that you can access it. help please

Well it is up to 7.0.9 now, as my computer just updated. Ok, did you go to the CONTROL PANEL, then click the ADD AND DELETE. In this window is all the programs with updates currently in your computer . Make sure ALL ADOBE products are deleted. If they are not then delete and then RESTART computer again. NEVER try to reload a program as this will cause problems. That is the only thing I can think of. Let me know in a couple of days if you still have the same problem. I do not work and have fun working on weird problems. The solutions are usually simple though.

Did you go into control panel, add remove programs, and remove all adobes, then click on control panel, go to top of standard bar, click folders, my computer, local disk c, program files, then look for any adobe that may be under these files, then go back to the top of the standard bar, click the search button type in adobe and make sure you seach the "C" drive, and click advance options to be sure to find hidden files. let the search program run to see if it can locate any hidden adobe files, if it finds some, delete those. then go to the recycle bin and delete everything there. then restart your computer. Go online and try to redownload abode 8. I usually do all this to be sure a program is completely deleted. If it does not work, I am sorry. Don't know what else to do,

Good Luck!!
