I take calcium, magnesium and potassium at bedtime. For every 100mg of calcium take 50mg of magnesium. I also take hylaronic acid, Walmart sells a bottle for around $5.00.
Vets give race horses hylaronic acid for their bones.
I don't know about all the expensive brands of joint formulas because I can't afford them.
