By the time you've finished praying to those 42,000 gods you will have no time for sleep and you'll just speed the death knocking on your door...

Just to be on the safe side, I would sacrifice a chicken to each of the 42,000 gods & bathe in their blood on a fullmoon.

Heh... You'll get through the night, allright, you won't even be finished when morning comes.
Do you feel safe after praying to all those Gods? Then go ahead.
But to be saved after death you need to go much deeper than praying. You can't just pray your way to salvation.

If you can pray to 42,000 gods per night then I would have to say yes. But 41,999 Maybe not.

On the one hand, I don't really think you have the time. On the other hand, you shoul pray to only one God, because if you pray to 42000, it means that you don't really believe in any of them so none of them would take you into heaven, because each of them knows that you also prayed to 41999 other gods.

No because there is only one God. And you cannot hedge your bets by praying to "all" the gods that you think there are. The one true living God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins so that we can have eternal life with Him.

When Paul was in Athens he told the Greeks, to instead of praying to their unnamed gods, to Pray to Jesus. Then they would start to see results. Try it.
