The only limit on this is your imagination. You can use mirrors, wine glasses, vases, coasters, wire baskets, you can even use a hollowed out pineapple or melon if you're just looking for a quick party decoration. If you're looking for more permanent things, look for items in your cupboard that will reflect or "facet" the light. Do make sure that the item you're using will hold the melted wax (or use the kind of candles that "evaporate") You don't want a mess running all over your furniture. Freezing your candles will make them burn longer. If you have jar candles and want them to last practially forEVer, get one of those desktop coffee warmers (they make candle warmers that are exactly the same thing but they cost more). However you display them, use different heights and sizes for effect. I have candles all OVER my house. One mistake I did make was to use bare candles around my bathtub (don't the movies make that look great?) - they melted all over the tub and I had a helluva mess.

The bottom side of a cd or dvd makes a really good candle holder. It reflects the light well and looks good as well. And it will accommodate any width candle.

A nice, short stemmed glass makes a nice candle holder. If it is
facetted, this adds a little elegance.

Kind of depends on the size of the candle...

small flower pot, cut glass bowl, skinny thin vase, orange juice glass, ash trays, small plates.....

Never use anything made out of plastic or paper (paper plates, plastic glasses, etc..)
