Have your tires balanced. Try shifting into 1st gear before you shift into reverse to stop the transmission. Some transmissions are very sensitive to the speed when you shift into reverse. If it still does it when you are stopped, put it in 1st, and then reverse then I would take it to the shop.

I have the same vehicle, well my husband does now, but I replaced the tires and it was much better. You can have your tires rotated and see if that helps. Ours also made the clunking noise, not sure why still. We've had our transmission rebuilt already.

you have a universal joint at the front and at the back of the drive shaft. get up under and take a hold of the drive shaft and give it a good shaking. if there is any movement at all then that's your problem. also your torque converter( if and automatic) straight drive it is one of the fingers on the pressure plate is either broken or weak.

You need a wheel alignment, very common problem. Also check out how bad your tires are. This may have caused your front end to go out of alignment.
