I'm in Iowa and it's spreading here at unbelievable rates. It's infected everyone in my house, and everyone I've come in contact with.

It starts with a nasty headache which turns into a high fever that lasts for days. Along with that is dizziness, sore and achy muscles, and itchy eyes and nose. I'm at the end of day 3 and still not better, my youngest daughter has been sick for 5 days now.

I don't think I've seen an illness quite like this before and was just wondering if it was happening anywhere else.

i had the same flu. i was sick with it 2 weeks before it hit me hard. it took a month to run it's course with me. my stomach still hurts when i eat. i eat 3 bites and i'm sick. there is nothing they can give you that will help the flu. meds only help you less miserable. drink plenty of fluids. get lots of rest and try to eat. god bless you, hope you get well soon.

I've heard that it's pretty bad in the Southeast, & that it's spreading North and West... No sign of it here in Arizona yet, but the local medics are predicting that it should arrive in a couple of weeks- with a vengence. Bad thing about it IS, we've already been hit by all sorts of miserable Cold Viruses the past month or so; -the LAST thing we need is a bout with the Flu! Hang in there, your fight with the Flu should be just about over... Take care, & keep warm...

I have and I heard it can kill if not treated within 72 hours, so be careful and go to the doctor!
