People say it's not a religion.

Maybe it has something to do with spirituality.

I see that "cult of evolution" is going to be the tagline of the night...

Evolution has a place in this catagory, because simply put, certain groups are trying to replace evolution (something proven many, MANY times) with creationist propaganda.

The bible says creation is the truth, and many different scientific books say evolution is. The difference is: one can go out and do research to prove evolution (with proper education and training), while the only "proof" that the bible has, is that the bible says so.

Evolution is the current highest explanatory principle of biology. If it's a religion, it's the only one on the planet with no system of spirituality, membership, prayer, supernatural belief or even codes of behavior. How that constitutes a religion, I'm not sure. Of course, you're not even reading responses anyway, just repeating yourself at the top of your lungs in order to feel better about yourself. If not, prove otherwise.

No it belongs in the science category.
Creationists bring it up, where their questions are posted on the homepage of this site and thinking people answer them, because you seem awfully confused and they want to help.

Yes, the idea that such a cult exists is as make believe as the idea of a God.

Does religion deserve it's own forum, or should it be in mythology and folklore?

Besides, you're the one that keeps posting about it in here. Most people would talk about it in the science section.

evolution is a science, not a religion. and by the way, i believe existance has evolved a great deal, but i still believe in my goddess as the ultimate creator...thus, mother nature.

I don't think you belong in this category. Maybe you could go to a science category. Go there and tell them evolution is fake. Bon voyage.
