Well, I'm 16 years old I'm a Christian so is my girlfriend so we're not into the sex thing, my girlfriend's name is Emily, I would have to say that we are in love, I say that because I know we are, I have asked, so I do know that she feels the same way about me. In the past her last boyfriend tried to kiss her, and she said no, so he ended up yelling at her, and they broke up, also, her dad was verbally abusive to her. She's been weird about the whole kissing thing ever since. I kiss her on the cheek, but any time I have tried to kiss her on the lips, she'd move away, and any time I try to ask her, why she doesn't want to she says she doesn't want to talk about it, or she changes the subject. I really do love her, and if I need to wait I will, but I really don't want to wait much longer, I love her, and I want to share that kiss with her, a kiss representing how much I love her, one of passion, not sexual, and my breath doesn't stink just thought I'd throw that out there...

awww...well..my ex bf treated me like **** before, so now it's real hard for me to even function normally with my current bf. :( Give her time and tell her exactly how you feel (the whole i want to show my love thru a kiss thing). She will slowly realize that she's not threatened and she will accept you. :)

When you tell her you love her, say you'd like to take it to the next level and show her your love with a kiss. If she objects, patiently ask her why. Let her explain and don't judge her for what she says. I hate to burst your love bubble, but you can't go forever without kissing. Will you be at the altar and just skip the kiss part? Hardly. If she loves you, she can kiss you. Seriously. If she won't soon, I think you have deeper problems that you need to look at.

If you want to kiss her, then here is what you do. Start by gently holding her hand. When she is nice and warmed up to you and you set the mood, gently nudge over towards her, touch her face and go for the kiss. Either she will be open to kissing you then and there or she won't. If she pushes you away, don't get discouraged. She might not be ready or comfortable to kiss you yet.
Don't just ask her, "May I kiss you?" Just go for it and do it. The spontanuity of it is more pleasing that just asking. Just be respectful of her wishes if she isn't ready though.

Take it easy, remember since she never kissed the ball is in her court and she will give it up when she ready to play. Dont pressure her, just let her warm up to you. Plus dont try to be too involved at your age, focus more on yourself and what you want for the future
