I think it´s long overdue, especially since 9/11. I´ve been travelling back and forth between the US and Mexico since I was 3 years old and I´ve always had a passport. I wouldn´t travel any other way.

I resent the **** out of it. I am an American citizen and shouldn't have to show proof to get in my own country. I can tell most of you are not old enough to remember Nazi Germany, but soon the gestapo will be stopping you on the street and demanding your "papers". This Nazi government already listens to your phone calls and opens your mail. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! Your civil liberties are quickly disappearing.

I like it - it makes our country just that little bit safer. It's definitely a step in the right direction. Now, let's start enforcing our immigration laws and deport!
