when is the soonest i can dye it again so its not so dark

You died it black.... It'll take years to get it back to normal if you want it a lght color.you can dye it again after 4 weeks, but only a shade lighter at a time... SEE A STYLIST!!!!!!

Well I am Madonna with my hair changes..
the same day my hair was too dark...........
I went to Sally's Beauty supply and got haircolor remover ...used that.... then immediatley used L'Oreal Excellence HiColor Permanent Creme for Dark Hair Only
(I have used every shade they have)which always works so good
usually a golden brown or a honey shade
But my hair loves dye :)

Ok, I did this once. You have to go to a hairdresser. I went about two weeks after permanently dyeing my hair black and they were able to lighten it back to a medium brown shade without frying the crap out of it.
A good hairdresser can fix it straight away. Don;t wait too long or you'll have natural regrowth which will lighten more than the rest of your hair and then you'll have a "halo" effect as it grows out. Not a good look.

You need 2 wait at least 3wks or you'll destroy your hair it could turn a different color a friend of mine did the same thing & she even went to a salon her hair turned Green it was Awful. even with there chemils it couldn't be done..I know I dyed mine a darker color it came out black I had 2 wait sure ya hate it but ya gotta wait be Patient it will grow out.Honest..Good Luck

i dyed my hair black and i liked it but quickly got sick of it...sadly you can't just dye your hair back to a different color, it's like trying to paint white over black...doesn't work..i had to bleach my hair 3 times to get it to a point where i could dye it a regular color again...and careful when you bleach it..i ruined my hair with it...good luck..oh there's also a thing i've heard about 'stripping' your hair, i don't know anything about it but you could ask your hair care person..

If you put dye over it ,it will still be black. You are going to have to have it taken out with color remover.

there is no more dying it to get it lighter what u need to do is let a pro mix some water with some bleach mixture and rinse it through your hair then apply a toner as close to your hair color as you can get I really wonder why people think they know what to do to their hair and then need help fixing it!!!

then go to a salon
and have them mix the color i want my hair to be

Go to a professional tomorrow and they can do it because their products are better.
