the average lifespan is 15-20 years if well taken care of. There are some that have lived until their late 20's. nutrition and health have alot to do with this. breeding and a seed only diet can cut the life span down considerably. sometimes as drastic as 1-5 yrs.

I don't really know the natural life span but I bought a cocketeil right after I married and it died the day that my marriage broke up. 3 and a half years. I think that stress and change can affect their life span

When I purchased my oldest cockatiel the average lifespan was estimated 8-30 years. He is now 19.
Of course, lifespan depends on vet care, high quality food, balanced diet, limiting the dangers in the home (dogs, cats, windows, doors, teflon cook ware.)

++++A person hes 70 years to except Jesus as Lord & Savior. Everyone has a freewill to choose, According to the Bible. We are all God's creation, but according to the book of John, we are not all God's children, there are God's children and the devils children, We have to make a choice which do we want to be !! ++++
