Check with your local public school about a PPCD program (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities). When he turns 3, I believe that he should be elligible for this program if he has an official diagnosis. The preschool program should be provided at no cost to you.

In the meantime, here are some of my favorite resources to get you started. I hope this helps!

The county workers should give you some advice or instructions what to do.
Depending on what symptoms they can decide what to do.
My nephew was diagnosed with autistic symptoms at age 2, and immediately began going to an occupational therapist, a special school, and starting seeing a speech therapist.
These may not all be necessary for your child, as each child with these symptoms is different.
There is one other thing to consider, and that is his diet. more and more research is showing children with autistic symptoms may show improvement with a gluten free diet.

Good luck!

I don't know what to tell you, except that it will be hard to raise him. Probably, however, not as hard as you think. Remember that even though he will need special care sometimes, he is sti,ll a kid. Maybe he will be a savant, and have a great gift. I hope for the best for you and your son.
