All of the major wars today are with Islamic groups. Islam is the largest enemy that the west faces today and you can be assured that more battles will be fought by the US and west against radical Islam.

Because they are misguided extremists who use their religon to justify doing bad things. I've always been really frustrated with "christian" people who use the bible to either rationalize judging others or taking away their rights, while ignoring its main messages. Same goes for Islam and Judism- all three of these religons teach values of love and acceptance. Terrorists misrepresent their religon and make it seem evil. Did you know that after 9/11, mosques all over our country were destroyed by people who felt that muslims were responsible for the world trade center attacks? That really bothers me. I completely agree with you, and I wish that all people who claim to be "religious" while doing inhumane things would learn to love and help each other.
