I have had them both 9 years, and just this week they hate each other. They have to be seperated?

I would seek a behaviorist or a trainer to figure out why they are fighting. Whether its over food, treats, chew toys or affection.

In the mean time, I would utilize a crate and crate-and-rotate. Meaning one dog is in a crate for a while and the other dog gets to roam around and get all the attention she wants. then, some time later, switch the dogs so the other can get lovin too. I would have two crates so the two can be separated at meal times and above all NEVER LEAVE THEM TOGETHER UNSUPERVISED!! That means at night too.

You might not have to keep them separated forever, just as long to figure out what their fight trigger is. Do some research into the breed, it might help you understand more. Look for subtle signals in their behavior towards eachother. Stiffening up, Tail at attention (high in the air, not waving much), posturing (standing tall and stiff, watchful), prickling of the hackles (hair from between the shoulders all along the spine to the tail), then finally, teeth bare and curled lips, maybe along with growls or snaps. When you see any of this between them, make a mental note about what could be causing the behavior to avoid it. When you catch it, redirect their attention separately, whether its moving one girl to a crate or to another person but do it carefully as not to get in the middle of a dog scuffle.

Do you know what cause made youre both dogs getting fighted ? well can happen if one of them was takening something away from the other dog like food or toys or theyre just playing together not really hurting eachother . most dogs do fight if there something wrong with how they do treated eachother . but if you want to stop them you can just put one of the dog outside and other one stay inside of the house or you can just take one of the dog back to the pound or gave one away instead having both of them . i odnt know iam just trying my best to giving you some ideas .

Watch Cesar Milan the dog whisperer on the history channel.

You have to take control and stop them from fighting.

Probably hormones. Separate them for a week and maybe they will be so happy to see each other again.
