This free program will. It has no spyware or adware.

Make sure you also download and install the LAME MP3 encoder - Allows Audacity to export MP3 files.

Download a program called; Goldwave, there is a free version. Goldwave will convert just about anything to anything. Only format I've found it won't convert is a rm file. (a Real Player file).

you can go to your C drive and the file you have the music into right click on the music file you want to convert from wav to mp3 (like - rebel yell.wav to rebel yell.mp3) click yes convert refresh and look at it....it should be converted and okay to play.....try it with a file you don't particular like but try it and see what I mean....

Good Luck

instead of entering the realms of audio editing with Audacity

install the WinLame program

http://winlame.sourceforge.net/

http://winlame.sourceforge.net/screenshots.php

it'll guide you through a number of simple steps, before popping out an mp3
