it sounds like they are yelling and have something to prove. Why do they use them????. i have also noticed that the people that use them make a lot of spelling errors and it makes them sound dumb. hmmm go figure.

I will use caps to emphasise certain words or phrasing .. because by just using text sometimes it is hard to show where your points are ...BUT (oops see i did it then automatically) i rarely use them to *shout*
I also have days when i can't spell .. depending on how tired i am .. :)

Maybe the people who use CAPS feel the need to be heard
Or maybe yet they are being courteous of the people who have a hard time hearing

Me too, caps should only be used when someone is really angry or happy, not just for normal chatting.
caps should only be used when an event has happened, good or bad.

hey watch it there are times when i think it needs to be done cause some people ask the stupidist questions. i think caps can mean hysterical laughter at some of them!!!!!!!!!
