You lose your ego.
'Those who take opium or alcohol are unconsiously
seeking the blissful thoughtless state of the real Self.
They get an intimation of thet bliss by drugs, but afterwards they must resume their normal state and craving comes back aven stronger until they become chronic addicts and slaves to the substance. With all such artificial stimulants thare must be a fall.'
Question is : How to lose ego without alcohol.

Becuase for the most part it is a chemical altering substance, your inducing toxication by drinking something that has been fermented and processed with preservatives, sulfates and other man made feel good chemicals vs, your bodies natural chemicals and it flows throughout your system after injestion, just like, it you drank a quart of oil you'd probably die #1 LOL, but really once these things hit your blood and hits your brain you go to the good happt place. Until the next day when you feel like you went to hell and sat and satans lap or got a lap dance which ever came first

Because the alcohol in your blood stream decreases the oxygen that gets to your brain and the rest of your body. It causes a very euphoric feeling, the same way you feel before you faint or pass out from hyperventilation, or drowning.

i feel really good being able to answer your question sinc im an expert.alcohol taken from the latin word means drunk and drunk from the english dictionanary means drunk. but i was explaing the effects of alcohol. quite simply it is a sedative, and even though you feel wide awake at times your not. it works your brain like anasthesia in an operation. it puts your brain to sleep just like an operation not your whole brain all at once just like an operation is not all at once the guy in the operating room pretty much keeps you in between life and death. and it does work the same as what they put you to sleep with in the hospital.it targets the same stems leading to the brain and as that part of the brain is numb we can operate without feeling and since we have no feeling we cant be hurt or feel pain thats a false sense just like the euphria you sense
