I've found a bunch of programs that convert audio/music files from WMA to MP3 (and into many other formats), but so far none of them that I've found will preserve the metadata/tags that are in the WMA files I have (for title, artist, album, track, etc.). Anyone know a program that will do the conversion and preserve the WMA metadata/tags so that the converted MP3 file contains the appropriate ID3 tags (i.e. artist, track, album, etc.)? Thanks!

try dbpoweramp. The old versions let you go to mp3 for free, but the new versions were bit by that same mp3-you-must-pay-to-use-it bug, so MAY have to pay to add mp3 capabilities (I just checked the website and it doesn't seem like it, but then again, I haven't used the program for a while). I know it can preserve metatags. Anyways, you can download it and try it out. It is a pretty awesome program, converting almost any file type into any file type.
